Pleasant and spotlessly clean place to stay in, it has very pleasant stuff on the menu or from our waiter. The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet. The location is marvellous, and the area is lovely close to bars and restaurants.

The hotel's location was ideal to explore the Rioja Alta region and visit wineries, with many conveniently situated within a 15 minute walk. Guests appreciated strolling through the bustling streets with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious, newly refurbished and clean. Staff were helpful in assisting with parking options and friendly in reception.
One guest found that their skylight window room didn't provide enough view.

Fantastic location - right near the old town in Haro and only a two minute drive to some of the best wineries in the region. Lovely staff and a great little cafe/restaurant on premise with good food and great wine. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to tour the Rioja wine region. The proprietors don't speak a lot of English, but definitely enough to get by.

Great owner-run hotel at the edge of the old town of Haro. Comfortable, stylish and very clean rooms and bathrooms of good size and very friendly and helpful staff. Lively bar and restaurant as well as a lovely outside terrace for food and wine. The owner has a well stocked cellar of wines from most Riojan bodegas and will organize small wine tasting at the hotel. The entire hotel is fully wheelchair accessible. The location is perfect as a base for seeing Rioja, close to a good number of bodegas, great walks and just a short walkt to the fantastic tapas bars/restaurants of Haro. A great find at excellent value - would rate it much higher than two stars - we booked two nights and ended up staying a week.
The location in the old town means that some noise in the evenings until about midnight. We did not mind, but if you want total quiet - this is not ideal for you.

The hotel had a two piece band playing until one in the morning and the bar seemed to be filled with mainly locals for this. If you have to get up early to visit the bodega the next morning this is not ideal.

Very friendly staff. Family hotel with warm welcome feeling. Best location in town, close to old city (great tapas night) and fabulous concentration of many major wineries just 1 km. away.
would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the rooms.

The staff were extremely helpful and made the stay enjoyable. Good spoken English made up for my poor Spanish! Excellent location in the old centre and with street parking in front - we arrived at 7pm and had 0.60€ to pay that covered us to 10am next day. Lovely, historic city with loads to see and do. Bodegas to visit and stunning surrounding countryside. Ideal for us.
Nothing, due to the price we paid I couldn't fault it. The lack of aircon' might not appeal to some in the heat of the summer but with the window open it was very pleasant and noise wasn't intrusive.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and absolutely perfect. The wifi signal was good. The room had climate control, a mini bar, and an iron, which were useful. The location was great, just 400 meters from the Church of Santo Tomas.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was excellent, and all spoke good or excellent English (we are language challenged) The owner is very knowledgeable about local wines, has a great selection of wines, and the food in the restaurant is gourmet quality. Very convenient for visiting Muga Winery - not to be missed for wine lovers. We returned to the restaurant 2 days after our stay just because we enjoyed Miguel and his staff so much. This place is a gem!

our recent stay in haro was amazing. arrope exceeded our expectations with its well-decorated and comfortable attic room, perfect location between the old town and newer part, and friendly staff. the hotel provided private parking and had great breakfast options.
Bright lights by the door and air conditioner made it difficult to sleep.
